Cara DeArmond, MS, CCC-SLP

Cara is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a bachelor’s degree from Nevada State College and earned her Master's degree in 2020 from New York University. Specializing in pediatric speech therapy, Cara has a strong passion for working with children who have oromyofunctional disorders, feeding challenges, motor speech disorders, and early intervention along with working with children who require robust AAC systems. Cara has extensive training in feeding disorders, is also Level 1 PROMPT trained, and currently expanding her knowledge in Gestalt Language Processor through Meaningful Speech, using these specialized approaches to help children develop effective communication and oral-motor skills. Cara recently moved to the PNW, and lives with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. She enjoys Pilates, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and eating good food.
